Sheep Village sits halfway up the mountain in Cingjing, away from the crowded areas but very close to beautiful scenery.
We have a viewing platform where the entire Central Mountain Range unfolds before your eyes.
Layer upon layer of mountains, clouds, and mist sometimes drift quietly over the rooftops. Sunlight pours into the rooms along the mountain slopes, and in the evening, mist rises from the garden, making the whole village soft and peaceful.
Public spaces are truly usable and comfortable
The lobby, corridors, balconies, kitchen, and garden are all open to you.
You can cook, chat, sunbathe, sit quietly, or just daydream — these spaces are yours to use freely, no extra booking or fees required.
We are here, but we stay quiet
The caretaker is at the front desk during the day to assist, and stays upstairs at night without disturbing you.
But if you need anything, just find us — we’re always around.
How do we assign rooms? We’ll take care of it for you
We flexibly arrange comfortable double and quadruple rooms based on your actual group size.
By default, one bed is for two people. If you want each person to have their own bed, please calculate using the “one person = two-person rate” method (see FAQ).
No breakfast, no KTV or board games — but complete freedom
We don’t provide breakfast so you can freely plan your mornings.
We also don’t prepare entertainment facilities because we believe nature, sunlight, fresh air, and what you bring yourselves are already enough.
Important reminder: Please prepare all your meals and ingredients in advance — food delivery is not available up the mountain! For dinner, we can arrange delivery from partner restaurants (for small groups, it’s better to go eat there directly).
No cleaning fee, but we collect a deposit first
We collect a NT$5,000 deposit upon check-in.
As long as the kitchen, lobby, and public areas are left clean and items returned to their places upon checkout, we will refund the full amount.

Whole-Village Check-in Rules
- Check-in: after 15:00 | Check-out: before 10:00
- Public areas (lobby, kitchen, balcony, garden) are free to use — please restore to original condition after use.
- Kitchen equipment (fridge, gas stove, pots, dishes, etc.) is free to use. Please clean and tidy up thoroughly afterward — thank you for your cooperation.
- Please sort and bag garbage properly (general, recyclables, food waste) — we will handle disposal.
- Rooms are assigned by us based on total group size — average mix of double & quadruple rooms; no room selection offered.
- One bed is for two people by default. For individual beds, please calculate as “one person = two-person rate”.
- Quiet hours: 22:00 to 08:00 the next day — please move activities indoors and keep voices low.
- Mountain echoes clearly and can disturb nearby campers/other accommodations. If bringing speakers or karaoke, please stop use after 21:30 to maintain the peace of the mountain and village.
- No smoking anywhere (including e-cigarettes). Smoking allowed only in designated outdoor ground-floor areas (not on balconies or near windows/doors). Bring your own ashtray, fully extinguish butts, and clean up — do not litter.
- Pets: Must inform us of type and number in advance for confirmation (some room types/dates may not be suitable or may have extra rules/fees). Unauthorized pets may result in refusal of entry without refund of deposit.
- NT$5,000 deposit collected at check-in. Full refund if public areas/kitchen are clean, items undamaged/lost, and garbage sorted properly. Deductions may apply otherwise.
- Caretaker stays upstairs, assists during the day or for emergencies, and does not disturb at night to protect your privacy. Contact us anytime if needed.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Is Sheep Village suitable for parties or noisy activities? Can we sing karaoke?
A: Sheep Village is best for those who enjoy quiet, nature, and intimate gatherings with friends/family. We do not provide entertainment equipment. If you bring your own karaoke/speakers, please stop use after 21:30 to avoid disturbing others. If you need a louder/party atmosphere, this may not be the best choice.
Q: Does the whole-village booking include breakfast?
A: No breakfast is included, allowing you full flexibility in the morning. The kitchen is fully equipped — please prepare your own ingredients in advance (no delivery services available in the mountains).
Q: If someone in the group wants their own bed, how is the price calculated?
A: Beds are calculated as two people per bed by default. If someone wants a bed to themselves (e.g., one person in a double room), they are charged the two-person rate. We will arrange rooms and beds based on the final “billable person count”. Please inform us of your needs when booking — we’ll help calculate the best arrangement.
Q: Will the caretaker always be around? Will it feel uncomfortable?
A: Rest assured — the caretaker respects your privacy and will not disturb you unless you need assistance. They only appear when needed.
Q: Can we bring pets?
A: We understand pets are family too. Please inform us of the type, size, and number in advance. We will assess based on room availability and other guests (may involve extra rules or fees). Bringing pets without prior approval may result in refusal of entry.
Q: How are children charged?
A: The “per additional person” rate applies to anyone occupying a bed. For non-bed-occupying infants or special cases, please discuss with us when booking.
Deposit Information
Booking deposit: After confirming the plan and total amount, please pay 30% of the total as deposit within 3 days to secure your booking. We will formally reserve the dates upon receipt. If payment is not received within the period, the reservation may be automatically canceled without notice.
Balance payment: The remaining 70% should be paid 7 days before check-in. For last-minute bookings (within 7 days including check-in day), full payment is required upfront.
Payment method: We currently accept bank transfer only. Account details will be provided upon confirmation.
Cancellation Policy
- 14 days or more before check-in (excluding check-in day): Full deposit refund (minus NT$200 admin fee).
- 7–13 days before: 70% refund.
- 4–6 days before: 40% refund.
- 1–3 days before: 30% refund.
- On check-in day: No refund.
In cases of force majeure (e.g., land typhoon warning issued by the Central Weather Bureau affecting the area, or major natural disasters causing traffic disruption), you may choose to reschedule (deposit retained for 3 months, one-time only) or request full refund (minus NT$200 admin fee) with proof.
The above policy may be adjusted during Chinese New Year, long weekends, New Year’s Eve, or other special periods — details will be provided at booking.
